The thumbnail pictures below have links to monographs with information on insects and larger animals which come into the garden and have some behaviours that are unhelpful to say the least. For example it's great to see and hear the Blackbirds and Thrushes, but they disturb mulches and young plants as they scuffle around for grubs. Also bringing up weed seeds defeating the purpose of the mulch.
